I had taken the beautiful 15 3/4" Darlot Petzval upstairs
because I have 2 of them and this one is by far the more
attractive of the 2 so I had determined to sell it.

Meanwhile enter my VERY photogenic brother-in-law,
TONY!  I knew he was perfect portrait material...but...
time was thwarting us on his extremely short visit with us.

Sunday AM 08-12-07 early he came upstairs to see
what I was doing as we were supposed to head out
to Keough's Hot Springs south of Bishop.

I said "I'm setting this up to do a portrait of you, sit
down and don't move."  I did the 2 portraits in 5 minutes
 or less in spite of what my bride says about me and
how much time it takes me to make a photo!

The important pics in the can, I did the self portraits
and the lamp picture 13 hours later as fill so
 I could develop five sheets together in the Jobo.
